Ron Abraham received a B.B.A. degree from Ohio University in 1963, and entered the life insurance field in 1966. He co-founded Associated Pension Consultants, Inc. in 1972, which was succeeded by Associated Financial Consultants, Inc. in 1990. He also co-founded Associated Investor Services, Inc. in 1989. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1973 (Gold Key member), his Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 1997, plus post-graduate CLU certificate courses in Advanced Pension Planning and Estate Planning. He is a graduate of the LIAMA School of Agency Management, and The Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC).
Ron currently holds the following positions: Adjunct professor and member of the Board of Governors of the School of Business & Entrepreneurship of Nova Southeastern University. He is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, a retired member of The Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, The National Association of Life Underwriters, The Executive Board of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Tax Council. He is Past Chairman of AIPAC for Broward County, Past Chairman of the Financial Advisory Committee of the School Board of Broward County, Past General Campaign Chairman for Israel Bonds of Broward County, Past Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Broward County School Board, Past Vice President for Financial Resource Development of The Jewish Federation of South Broward and Past Vice Chairman of both the Broward County Health Facilities Authority and the Board of Appeals and Adjustments for the City of Hollywood. He has previously been President of the North Dade-South Broward Estate Planning Council and Director of The Broward Chapter of CLU & ChFC.
