While Associated is still saddened by the sudden passing of longtime partner, Marc Weiss, the firm announced Logan Mondshein would rejoin the team as Employee Benefit Practice Leader.
“No one will ever replace Marc,” Associated partner Steve Fraidstern said. “We do, however, believe we did an excellent job in finding someone that can help fill his shoes.”
Mondshein previously worked in the Employee Benefits Division at Associated from 2010-2012 as Weiss’s protégé. Following his time at Associated, Mondshein worked for two of the largest health insurance carriers in the country, Humana and United Healthcare. He was a top producer, achieving awards such as Presidents Council, and was sought out by senior leadership for his insights into small and medium sized businesses.
Now serving as Associated’s Employee Benefit Practice Leader, Mondshein will work closely with the firm’s veteran employee benefits team, Ivonne Gancedo (Account Executive) and Maggie Mercedes (Director of Claims).
“We are delighted to welcome Logan back to the Associated family,” Fraidstern said. “He brings a fresh perspective on a multitude of areas such as cost containment strategies, workplace wellness and electronic enrollment, all while continuing to provide the top rate client service and experience our clients have come to expect from us.”
Mondshein is a graduate and proud supporter of Florida State University and resides in South Florida with his wife Lindsey, son Harper and their two dogs.
