Associated's Wooden Joins National Push to End Financial Illiteracy Among Youth of Color

Associated partner and financial advisor Shawn Wooden is joining 100 Black Men of America, Inc. to judge the championship of the State Farm Dollars and $ense Youth Investment Competition in conjunction with the Brace B. Godfrey Jr. African American History Challenge Youth Competition.


The competition was established by The 100 Back Men of America Inc., in collaboration with State Farm to address and help eradicate financial illiteracy among youth of color. The competition is an in-depth financial literacy program designed to provide high school students with early opportunities to learn and apply best practice and principals for saving and investing.


Wooden will be judging the group of finalists as they compete for their chance to win scholarships and earn the Championship Title and Trophy.


The final leg of the competition will take place at the 36th Annual Conference for 100 Black Men of America, Inc. at Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, FL on Friday, June, 17th.
