The Associated Family is heading back to Feeding South Florida for our #AssociatedCares volunteer event on Saturday, December 5th.
Feeding South Florida rescues donated food from more than 500 retail partners and delivers it to over 250 community agencies serving families and seniors across Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties. Volunteers help inspect, sort, and pack that food so it’s ready to reach the people who need it most.
Our partnership started in March 2022, when our team celebrated Associated’s 50th anniversary by packing nearly 50,000 meals, totaling 18,500 pounds of food, for the local community. We’ve been coming back ever since.
Last December, 35 Associated team members and family packed 10,000 pounds of food, and the firm made a $2,500 contribution to support Feeding South Florida’s mission. Check out the recap from last year’s event HERE!
This year, we’re bringing the kids along and looking to make it our biggest one yet.
