Since the inception of the firm in September 1989, Paul has served as President of Associated Investor Services Inc., a Registered Investment Advisory firm. Paul is securities licensed through Securities America, Inc., a Registered Broker/Dealer. Paul has been recognized by Registered Representative Magazine, a large national brokerage trade publication, as one of the 1994 Outstanding Brokers of the Year.1

In 2018, Paul joined the nation’s top independent financial advisors at the Barron’s Top Independent Advisors Summit for the eighth consecutive year. The invitation-only, three day summit is held annually to give the nation’s top advisors an opportunity to share ideas, best practices, technology and trends within the industry and with their peers. That same year, Paul was honored by Envestnet with the first-ever Envestnet Institute on Campus (EIOC) Vision Award at the annual Advisor Summit in New Orleans. The accolade was presented for acting as an agent of change within the industry, which included Associate’s hiring process and embracing diversity.

In addition, he has been recognized by the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge, England as one of the 2000 Outstanding People of the 20th Century. He also has been named in numerous Editions of Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in Business and Finance as well as Who’s Who in America. He capped it off by earning the Marquis Who's Who - Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

Prior to 1989, he worked for three years as a Senior Vice President of Finance at a boutique securities firm and for over a decade as a South Florida CPA with national and international accounting firms. He has been profiled by numerous publications as a leader in the brokerage community.

To be eligible for the award, the following criteria had to be met: minimum of three years in the industry as a producing retail registered representative; minimum of one year with his or her present firm; good compliance standing; not a previous Outstanding Broker Award recipient; and ranked in the top 25 percent of his or her firm’s retail producers.
